Configurational Comparative Analysis (CCA)

As part of the NELP evaluation of Place-based systemic approaches to physical activity inequalities, we are using Configurational Comparative Analysis (CCA). This is a research and evaluation method that integrates both qualitative and quantitative data to compare patterns across case-studies and identify which conditions, or combinations of conditions, lead to a desired outcome, and to explore why this might be. Sport England will invite eligible Place Partnerships to take part in the 2024 Configurational Comparative analysis evaluation in early September, with a deadline for responses of 15th October. The survey responses will be collected via an online link but the questions are provided in PDF format below, for information.
